Students must be age 5 + (children must know the first seven letters of the alphabet)
Children must be able to sit and focus for 20-30 minutes.
You need to own a piano or digital keyboard
Beginning through early advanced. Transfer students are more than welcome
Lessons are 30 or 45 minutes once a week. Please be on time for your lesson. Lessons will not be extended for late arrival. Lessons will be extended if the teacher is working overtime with a student. Please pick up your children on time. If you arrive early or the current student is finishing up, please go quietly to the waiting room.
Please come to your lesson "practiced up" and prepared to play beautifully. Be prepared to follow instructions your teacher gives you. Please do not bring candy or drinks with you to the piano and remember to turn off your cell phone. The actual work of learning the piano and the credit for success rests with the student. Even the wisest and most competent teacher cannot master the piano for you. This is a great opportunity to develop discipline, learn to schedule priorities and to understand that there is not always enough time in the day to do everything, but to choose wisely those things that are important. The piano requires the ability to study independently. Set aside a certain time each day to practice. Practice can be divided into several sessions. Relax and have fun learning a new skill and new way to express yourself.
Students (it's all about you!)
Waiting Room (Closed until further notice)
This is a private lesson only studio. The private lesson requires focus without distraction. Because of this, parents, siblings and other visitors are asked to sit in the waiting room or out in the car during lesson time. The waiting area is stocked with toys, coloring books, and reading material. Please leave it as you found it.
